Getting Better Context

It’s always great to get the context about a situation before taking a stand, making a decision or interpreting information.
Context is generally the circumstances surrounding an event in order to understand it better.
Getting better context can be done in any of the following ways:
1. Reading up on the history of a news item before forming an opinion.
2. Checking the thread of an email before replying.
3. Going through the comments section of a post before dropping yours (at least when you’re not the first to comment).
4. Finding more about the person or organisation that’s the source of the information: there are biases you might not know about which affects what you are looking at🙂.
Generally, just asking more questions and getting more information about whatever you’re looking at. It makes things much clearer.
Have a productive week friends.
